Infinite Concepts Sub Zero

This is Sub Zero from the Infinite Concepts Mortal Kombat line. He has quite a dynamic sculpt that I rather like.

Goro

This is Goro as he appeared in Mortal Kombat Deception.

Shaolin Monks Scorpion

This is Scorpion as he appeared in the game Shaolin Monks.

Toy Island Scorpion

The curious thing about Scorpion from Toy Island's Mortal Kombat Trilogy line is that he has exactly the same sculpt and articulation as the earlier Hasbro Scorpion but in a larger size. He also has peg holes in his feet the same size as Hasbro figures.

The paint work seems to be lower quality though. Note how the skin color on the face doesn't match the arms. You could argue that the since the face is a mask that covers a skull that this is authentic.

Scorpion

This is Scorpion from the Mortal Kombat movie line. He originally came with a soft good coat which is why his paint scheme is quite simple.

Here is a screenshot from the movie for comparison. I'm assuming that the reason that th face mask on the figure is blue is to suggest the metal mask seen in the movie.

Cyber Ninjas

All three of my custom Cyber Ninjas. Based on one of Lanard's Space Corps figures. From left to right: Cyrax, Sektor and Smoke.

Sonia Blade

Sonia Blade - regular edition. I've seen a custom on the internet that mixes the green and black parts from this and the movie version to get something that looks a bit closer to what appears in the game.

Sektor

This is repaint I did to make a Secktor who sadly never appeared in the Mortal Kombat toyline. The base figure is a Star Corps figure from Lanard.

Shang Tsung

Sadly another crap picture. This is the version of Shang Tsung that was a pack in with the Dragon Boat.

Shang Tsung first appeared as the boss in the original Mortal Kombat. He had the ability to morph into other characters and has been depicted as being able to steal souls to becomee more powerful.

Sonia Blade (Movie)

This is the movie version of Sonia Blade which is slightly different to the regular release. The body is reused from the G. I. Joe character Jinx which I owned as a child.

Raiden

Raiden from Mortal Kombat. The hat isn't supposed to be removable but mine is.

Kano

This is a very cool figure that was unfortunately only available bundled with a shonky motorbike and sidecar.

Johnny Cage

As you can see this figure is kinda generic. I really loved the portrayal of Johnny in the Mortal Kombat Movie.

Johnny Cage first appeared in Mortal Kombat 1. He appeared in Mortal Kombat 2 but was killed off in the events leading up to Mortal Kombat 3 before being resurrected in Mortal Kombat Trilogy.

Smoke

Exactly the same figure as Sub Zero but with grey instead of blue. In this sense its actually very accurate to the game. Smoke first appeared as a secret character in Mortal Kombat II.

Sub Zero

Since I have already mentioned the G. I. Joe Street Fighter toys it seemed like a good idea to put some of the Mortal Kombat toys up. While not officially linked to G. I. Joe like the Street Fighter figures the Mortal Kombat figures are all based on G. I. Joe bodies. The line also reused several G I Joe vehicles.

This is Sub Zero who first appeared in the original game. He has real cloth hanging from one hip and is sadly lumbered with a Karate chop action feature.
